The General behind the name.
Major General James F. Hackler Jr. served his country, helped shape the Grand Strand golf industry, and supported Coastal Carolina University.
A decorated fighter pilot, civic leader, and golf-industry pioneer, General Hackler left a lasting mark on the community. The aircraft at the heart of the Hackler identity keeps that history visible while the course carries his name forward.
